COVID-19 Announcement:
Vancouver Whale Watch has always operated within a strong federal regulatory framework that naturally creates a culture of safety. We have developed and implemented enhanced health & safety protocols that will ensure the safety, the confidence, and exceed the expectations of our employees and our guests. We are very pleased to say that we had a safe and successful 2020 whale watching season, with all things considered. Looking ahead and moving forward, we are excited for the 2021 whale watching season and will be prepared to go above and beyond to meet all guidelines necessary!
- Our staff and passengers will be required to complete health declarations and temperature checks prior to work and pre-boarding.
- Zero tolerance policy for illness in the workplace.
- Passengers and staff will be required to wear protective face covering when social distancing is not possible.
- Employees of Vancouver Whale Watch have the right to deny boarding to any passenger if there are any health or compliance concerns.
- Strict cleaning and sanitization protocols are in place at check-in and on board our shuttles and vessels.
- We are using technology solutions to reduce contact such as prepaying options and submitting digital waivers.
