Large Zodiac Tours
Our large Zodiacs, Explorathor II and Explorathor Express, are open/semi-covered zodiac style vessels with a semi-covered seating area in the rear. These boats are fast, yet very comfortable, ideal for all ages, families and groups. The roofs come off from mid-June to mid-September and carry 45 and 47 passengers, respectively. Each tour lasts three to five hours.
Small Zodiac Tours
For the more adventurous our 12-passenger zodiac vessels, Strider I and Lightship I, offer an exhilarating open-air ride with unparalleled safety, stability and performance standards. All passengers are supplied with a full-body mustang suit with a built-in life vest for safety and protection from the weather. Our open-air zodiacs operate from May to September and trip length is three to five hours.

Getting here is easy. We offer round-trip shuttle services from downtown Vancouver and Richmond. Our drivers begin your wildlife commentary the moment you board. For $20 you get a guided tour of Vancouver and Richmond as we take you to our destination, the charming and historic fishing village of Steveston.

This was a wonderful experience. It’s recommended for everyone to try. The staff and all the team members went over and beyond. We were out on the water for 5 hours and we saw sea lions, eagles, and humpback whales. The whales were quite active. The captain was excellent in maneuvering the watercraft for everyone to witness the majestic whale’s activities. The guide on the boat gave an abundance of useful information about the area, animals and the business/ team. We didn’t want the day to end. We will come again. Thank you for such a life lasting memory.
Brendan D was our guide, he was great! He made efforts to talk to everyone on the boat to answer questions, we saw orcas (from afar), humpbacks, bold eagles, seals and sea lions. We started the tour at noon and returned back to dock at around 430 pm. On the boat, they have one granola bar per person (note to self: bring snacks & water next time). Everyone in the office was helpful and welcoming.
Friendly captain and knowledgeable naturalist, Rhiannon! Rhiannon was so friendly and made sure everyone got the most out of their trip. We were very lucky, spending the better part of an hour with two beautiful humpbacks. We then saw some seals and sealions before heading back to shore. What a unique experience! Thank you to the crew!
Went on a tour lead by Brynne, Carly, and Captain Mike and I had the time of my life! The guides were very knowledgeable about marine wildlife and it was an incredible tour on the water. We were incredibly lucky and saw both humpback whales and transient orcas, along with sea lions and seals. Such an amazing experience!
Great trip today, saw 2 individual humpback whales and then a further 2 swimming in a pair on the way back aswell as hundreds of seals & sea lions. Tour was promptly run and very well explained throughout.
